Some protein bars are keto-friendly, but most aren't. For keto, you need bars with under 5g net carbs. Watch out for maltitol (spikes blood sugar despite being a sugar alcohol) and IMO fiber (partially digestible). Quest, ONE, and a few others qualify.

Keto requires keeping net carbs under 20-50g per day, so every gram counts. A "keto-friendly" protein bar should have under 5g net carbs (total carbs minus fiber minus erythritol). But not all sugar alcohols are equal — maltitol has a glycemic index of 36 (vs 0 for erythritol), so it can kick you out of ketosis. IMO fiber is also controversial — it may be partially digestible, adding hidden carbs.
